Annual Fire Evacuation Drills | January 21 - February 12

Please be advised that FSU Environmental Health & Safety staff will conduct annual fire evacuation drills in the buildings listed below, from January 21 - February 12, 2026.

These drills are required by the State Fire Marshal's office and the Florida Fire Prevention Code and serve as an important training exercise for faculty, staff, and students should a real fire emergency occur. These exercises are to be conducted at times representing "normal" occupancy, and a complete building evacuation by all building occupants is required by state law.

For more information, please refer to the university's Fire Evacuation Drill program.

Please contact Lead Fire Safety Officer, Curtis Rogers at cdrogers@fsu.edu or 850-644-6535 with any concerns or questions regarding these fire evacuation drills.
